Abstract

Inflation is considered to be one of the negative phenomena of national economy. In this article we intend to analyze the link between the inflation rate and some important macroeconomic variables. The objective of the research is the demonstration of a causal connection between the inflation rate and an exchange rate lei/euro, respectively between the inflation rate and the average nominal wage, these manifests using econometric methods.
