Juventud lapidada: El caso de los ninis

Abstract

El artículo es producto de una serie de reflexiones sobre la categoría “nini”, la cual ha sido parte del discurso público en los últimos años, pero cuya construcciónes incipiente. El objeto de estudio aborda un tema complejo, nuevo y resulta un campo emergente en el análisis donde incluso la bibliografía existente no logra abarcar el tema con precisión ni profundidad. Por ello el documento presenta un aporte para el estudio del fenómeno social al presentar una metodología para evaluar el impacto de los jóvenes que no estudian y no trabajan, agregando un elemento adicional, pues no han tenido la oportunidad de acceder a instituciones de educación y al mercado laboral. Los “nini” son una nueva generación de jóvenes, cuya vulnerabilidad los hace más “débiles” frente a quienes trabajan y estudian, su futuro será incierto en un mercado global competitivo, es un segmento de la población excluida por naturaleza de las oportunidades de una mejor calidad de vida.
