Las competencias del diseñador industrial en el ámbito manufacturero en Ciudad Juárez

Abstract

En el presente trabajo identificamos las competencias de un diseñador industrial. Mencionamos listados de diferentes instituciones internacionales –IDSA, ICSID, la Escuela de Diseño del Instituto Profesional DuocUC de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, etc.– que dividen las competencias del diseñador a partir del enfoque francés: área del Saber (conocimiento), del Saber Hacer (habilidades y destrezas intelectuales y físicas) y área del Saber Ser (afectiva); así como atributos, habilidades y destrezas de un diseñador industrial. Para obtener estos datos nos referimos a información prevista en diferentes sitios e investigaciones, así como a un caso de estudio específico de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. En nuestra conclusión mencionamos las competencias identificadas.
