Abstract

La presente etude explore une piste particuliere d'explication du retard europeen : celle d'une plus faible (en valeur absolue) elasticite-prix de leur demande. L'analyse porte conjointement sur cinq pays : la France, l'Allemagne, les Pays-Bas, le Royaume-Uni et les Etats-Unis. Les donnees mobilisees sont macro-economiques, annuelles, et couvrent la periode 1975-2001.
