Fordismo y modernización en la economía mexicana

Abstract

Fordismo proviene del apellido Ford, relativo a Henry Ford, norteamericano, quien a principios del siglo XX implementa la producción en serie y a gran escala como fórmula de organizar el trabajo y la producción en sus fábricas automotrices, gracias a la especialización del trabajo. También se le nombra como Taylorismo, fayolrismo, modernismo o esquema de producción rígida. Es efecto inminente de la revolución de la administración científica iniciada a mediados del siglo XIX en Inglaterra y que en 1900 abiertamente es considerada la organización moderna de producción, contraponiéndose al régimen de producción artesanal precedente, al que subordina a una segunda esfera, complementaria.
