Materialengpässe in der Industrie: Ein Blick zurück, Status quo und ein europäischer Vergleich

Abstract

In den vergangenen drei Jahren wurde die europäische Industrie durch einen bis dato beispiellosen Materialmangel gebremst. Besonders dramatisch war die Situation in Deutschland. In der Spitze berichteten mehr als drei Viertel der Unternehmen von Materialengpässen. Mit dem Abflauen der Pandemie entspannte sich die Situation jedoch zusehends und trotz anfänglicher Befürchtungen sorgte der Krieg in der Ukraine kaum für erneute Materialengpässe. Abzuwarten bleiben die Folgen der aktuellen Spannungen im Nahen Osten.
