Unternehmerische Investitionen in Künstliche Intelligenz in Deutschland

Abstract

Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) birgt für Unternehmen dank der zunehmenden Verfügbarkeit von Daten großes Potenzial für Produktivitätssteigerung und Innovation. Ein schnelles und effizientes Aufgreifen der vielen Einsatzmöglichkeiten ist entscheidend zur Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der deutschen Wirtschaft. Wie steht es aktuell um die KI-Nutzung deutscher Unternehmen? Im Rahmen des Jahresmonitors der Stiftung Familienunternehmen 2023 wurden über 1.500 Unternehmen zu ihren Investitionen in KI befragt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen eine dynamische Entwicklung der KI-Nutzung: 2023 kam in jedem fünften Unternehmen KI zur Anwendung. Besonders ausgeprägt ist die Nutzung in Unternehmensbereichen, in denen viele Daten verarbeitet werden. Die Umfrage deutet allerdings auch an, dass einer höheren Nutzung noch Hürden im Weg stehen: Der Anteil der Befragten, der keine Relevanz für KI im eigenen Unternehmen sieht, ist deutlich kleiner als der Anteil derer, die derzeit noch keine KI anwenden. Der zunehmende Trend an KI-nutzenden Firmen dürfte sich dementsprechend weiter fortsetzen.
