Wie lässt sich die Mobilität von Hochschulabsolvent*innen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt erhöhen?

Abstract

Frühe Mobilität führt zu einem beträchtlichen Anstieg der späteren Arbeitsmobilität, was Auswirkungen auf die Arbeitsmarkteffizienz und verteilungspolitische Belange hat. So steigt mit jedem Kilometer Entfernung zum Stadtzentrum die Wahrscheinlichkeit, zum Studium umzuziehen, um 2 Prozentpunkte. Im Vergleich zu jemandem, der in der gleichen Arbeitsmarktregion zur Schule gegangen ist und studiert hat, macht ein erster Umzug für das Studium einen späteren Umzug zum Berufseinstieg dreimal so wahrscheinlich.
