Abstract

Francesco D’Acunto (Boston College), Sascha Möhrle, Florian Neumeier, Andreas Peichl, ifo Institut und Michael Weber (University of Chicago) präsentieren die Ergebnisse einer Umfrage bei deutschen Haushalten nach deren Präferenzen und Einstellungen zu verschiedenen Finanzierungsinstrumenten von Klimaschutzmaßnahmen. Danach präferiert die deutsche Bevölkerung steuerfinanzierte Lösungen, wie etwa eine Erhöhung des Spitzensteuersatzes oder eine CO2-Umsatzsteuer. Höhere Staatsschulden und private Versicherungen sind dagegen wenig beliebt.
