Das neue Geschäftsklima für Soloselbständige und Kleinstunternehmen

Abstract

Seit August 2021 berechnet das ifo Institut Konjunkturindikatoren für Soloselbständige und Kleinstunternehmen auf Basis seiner Unternehmensbefragungen. Daraus wird künftig unter anderem der »Jimdo-ifo-Geschäftsklimaindex für Kleinstunternehmen und Soloselbständige« veröffentlicht. Dazu wurden intensive Anstrengungen zur Ausweitung des Teilnehmerpanels in diesem Segment unternommen. Die Ergebnisse der ersten Monate zeigen, dass Soloselbständige und Kleinstunternehmen mit ihrer derzeitigen Situation deutlich weniger zufrieden sind als die Gesamtheit aller Unternehmen. Bei den Erwartungen für die kommenden Monate macht sich zudem eine spürbare Skepsis breit. Im November lag das Geschäftsklima für die Soloselbständigen und Kleinstunternehmen daher im Gegensatz zur Gesamtwirtschaft im negativen Bereich. Insgesamt deuten die Ergebnisse zahlreicher Fragen darauf hin, dass kleinere Unternehmen am stärksten von der Coronakrise in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wurden.
