Auf dem Weg zur Sozialunion?

Abstract

In den vergangenen Jahren sind verschiedene Initiativen zur Stärkung des »sozialen Europas« verfolgt worden. Eine Angleichung oder Zentralisierung nationaler Sozialpolitiken ist jedoch aus Gründen der Subsidiarität nicht erstrebenswert. Die Europäische Kommission sollte im Rahmen des Europäischen Semesters weiterhin eine beratende Rolle einnehmen, jedoch sollten Reforminitiativen aus den Mitgliedstaaten selbst kommen.
