Master Craftsman Certificate and its requirements – the foundation of a strong, innovative manual trades sector

Author

Listed:
  • Heinrich Traublinger

Abstract

Heinrich Traublinger, president of the association of Bavarian manual-trades chambers (Bayerischer Handwerkstag), argues against further deregulation of the Manual-Trades Code and in particular for the maintenance of the master craftsman proviso. Especially in the area of training, vocational access that is linked to qualifications plays a vital role and is the basis for high quality and innovation.
