The Influence of the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict on German Manufacturing - Results of a Special Question in the Ifo Business Survey

Abstract

Responses to a special question from participants in the Ifo Business Survey show that large companies in particular were more heavily affected by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Moreover, companies with economic relations with Russia were generally more sceptical about their future business developments in the months ahead.
