Competitive Deficits in Statutory Health Insurance

Abstract

In their commentary Klaus-Dirk Henke, TU Berlin and Wolfram Richter, TU Dortmund, identify serious deficits in competition in the German healthcare system. They investigate such deficits in statutory health insurance and name concrete deficits that need to be addressed by policy-makers.
