Abstract

In the framework of climate change the global average temperature increase of the earth’s surface is given at least relative to pre-industrial times. This formulation implicitly emphasizes the causality of the temperature increase, namely the mining of coal during the Industrial Revolution and the emission of greenhouse gases related to it. This article shows the relationship between the extraction of resources, economic growth and climate change.
