German electrical industry - innovative and pronounced growth potential

Abstract

The German electrical industry recovered in 2010 from the impact of the global financial and economic crisis. Real industry output increased by 14%. Turnover increased from 145 to 164 billion euros. Also in the current year, the electrical industry will continue to grow, according to Andreas Gontermann of ZVEI, the industry's federation. In 2012 production and sales could set new records.
