Abstract

The Ifo Economic Climate improved again during the first quarter of 2007, having cooled slightly during the second half year of 2006. The improvement pertained both to the appraisal of the present economic situation and to the expectations for the next six months. The Ifo World Economic Climate improved in the major economic regions - Western Europe, North America and Asia - and signalled continuingly robust world economic activity for the first half year of 2007.
