Westdeutsche Industrie: 2004 Investitionsanstieg von 4% geplant

Abstract

Wie die aktuellen Ergebnisse des ifo Investitionstests zeigen, hat das westdeutsche verarbeitende Gewerbe 2003 rund 42,4 Mrd. € in neue Bauten und Ausrüstungen investiert, was im Vergleich zum Vorjahr einem Rückgang von knapp 2% entspricht (real ½%). Damit waren die Investitionen des verarbeitenden Gewerbes in Westdeutschland im zweiten Jahr in Folge rückläufig. Angesichts der langsam in Fahrt kommenden Konjunktur nimmt aber die Investitionsbereitschaft der Industrieunternehmen wieder zu. Für 2004 liegt das derzeit geplante Investitionsniveau im westdeutschen verarbeitenden Gewerbe um knapp 4% (real gut 3%) über dem Ergebnis des Vorjahres. Vorrangiges Investitionsziel ist in diesem - wie schon im letzten - Jahr die Ersatzbeschaffung. Gut ein Drittel der Investitionsausgaben ist für Ersatzbeschaffungen vorgesehen. Erweiterungsinvestitionen stehen mit einem Anteil von rund einem Viertel an zweiter Stelle, gefolgt von Rationalisierungsmaßnahmen mit knapp 20%.
