Ten years Ifo Dresden branch

Abstract

On 1 September 1993 the Dresden subsidiary of the Ifo Institute for Economic Research was established. In the ten years of its existence, economic studies have been prepared in Dresden that have dealt with the system change and the business situation in eastern Germany, especially in the Free State of Saxony, and EU eastern enlargement. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, the journal ifo Dresden berichtet will appear as an expanded edition with a detailed report on the work of Ifo Dresden.
