Kinder - eine Beschäftigungsbarriere für Frauen in Deutschland
Abstract
Eine 1998 durchgeführte Befragung zeigte, dass in Deutschland die weit überwiegende Zahl von Frauen mit Kindern erwerbstätig sein möchte. Neueste Zahlen der OECD belegen aber, dass dieser Wunsch in Deutschland in weitaus geringerem Maße als in anderen Ländern realisiert werden kann. Die Differenz zwischen der Beschäftigungsquote von Frauen mit zwei und mehr Kindern und der Beschäftigungsquote von Frauen ohne Kinder beträgt in Deutschland mehr als 20 Prozentpunkte. Der internationale Vergleich der Beschäftigungsquoten bestätigt, dass in Deutschland Erwerbstätigkeit und Familie schlecht vereinbar sind.Download Info
