Restructuring of stock markets

Abstract

In March and May of this year, agreement was reached on two European stock market mergers. Measured in terms of market capitalization, these merged stock markets are still by no means international leaders. It can thus be expected that the restructuring of international stock markets is only in its beginning phase.
