Westdeutsche Bauwirtschaft: Mit steigenden Investitionsbudgets ins Jahr 2000

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests, an dem im September/Oktober rund 300 westdeutsche Bauunternehmen teilgenommen haben, hat das Baugewerbe in den alten Bundesländern 1999 mit 4,1 Mrd. DM um knapp 3% (real: 3,5%) mehr für neue Bauten und Ausrüstungsgüter ausgegeben als 1998. Die Frühjahrserhebung hatte noch eine Steigerung um 7,5% (real: 6%) erwarten lassen. Obwohl davon auszugehen ist, daß sich die konjunkturelle Erholung in der westdeutschen Bauwirtschaft im Jahr 2000 fortsetzt, waren die Unternehmen bei der Formulierung ihrer Investitionspläne sehr vorsichtig: Die Hochschätzungen ergeben einen Anstieg der Bruttoanlageinvestitionen um rund 2,5% (real: 2%). Hauptmotive der Investitionstätigkeit bleiben Ersatzbeschaffung und Rationalisierung.
