Abstract

Für die zweite Erhebung über die Diffusion von IuK-Techniken und die tatsächliche Nutzung verschiedener Dienste, die in der zweiten Jahreshälfte 1997 durchgeführt wurde, hat das ifo Institut fortgeschrittene Anwender, d.h. die Unternehmen ausgewählt, die zumindest über eine interne Vernetzung ihrer Informationstechnik verfügen. Am häufigsten wurde die Vernetzung der Arbeitsplätze innerhalb des Unternehmens für logistische Zwecke und zur Informationsübermittlung genutzt. Noch sehr wenige Unternehmen machten regelmäßig von der Telearbeit Gebrauch (2,4%), vor allem die Mitarbeiter größerer Unternehmen erledigten ihre Arbeit allerdings häufiger versuchsweise oder gelegentlich von der eigenen Wohnung aus.
