Hohes Niveau, aber nur moderates Trendwachstum des westdeutschen Bauvolumens

Abstract

Die neueste Ausgabe der ifo Bauvorausschätzung/Westdeutschland geht den Besonderheiten der aktuellen Entwicklung sowie den mittel- und langfristigen Perspektiven der Bauwirtschaft für den Zeitraum 1997 bis 2007 nach. Auf der Basis einer ausführlich beschriebenen Prämissenkonstellation werden mittelfristige Konjunktur- und Trendprognosen für das westdeutsche Bauvolumen und dessen Teilsparten bereitgestellt. Die aktualisierten Berechnungen und Schätzungen ergeben für das ehemalige Bundesgebiet insgesamt eine Stabilisierung der Nachfrage nach Bauleistungen auf hohem Niveau. Grundlagen und Hintergrund dieser Einschätzung sowie einige ausgewählte Aspekte und Detailergebnisse werden im vorliegenden Beitrag dargestellt.
