Trotz zeitweiliger konjunktureller Abkühlung mittelfristig gutes Investitionsklima

Abstract

Der Bericht stellt die vom ifo Institut erarbeiteten mittelfristigen Investitionstendenzen für Deutschland dar. Die sektorale und nach wichtigen Gütergruppen differenzierten Prognosen basieren auf einem weltwirtschaftlichen Szenario, das in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen europäischen Forschungsinstituten erstellt wurde. Danach ist die gegenwärtige konjunkturelle Abkühlung in Westeuropa ein zeitlich begrenztes Phänomen. Sie wird schon im Laufe des Jahres 1996 wieder von einer stärkeren Wachstumsdynamik abgelöst. Parallel dazu belebt sich die Konjunktur in Deutschland. Unter diesen Rahmenbedingungen kann die Investitionstätigkeit bis zum Ende des Jahrzehnts kräftig expandieren. Es sind dabei allerdings stagnierende Investitionstätigkeiten in der Landwirtschaft festzustellen. Die Investitionen des Sektors Bergbau und Energie haben ein hohes Niveau erreicht und werden im Prognosezeitraum etwas zurückgehen. Weiterhin wird eine vorübergehend schwächere Investitionsdynamik in der westdeutschen Industrie und eine tendenzielle Abschwächung der Investitionsintensität in Ostdeutschland festgestellt. Der Rückgang der Investitionen der Bauwirtschaft läuft Ende 1996 aus.
