Durstige Kehlen im Jahr 1994 : jedoch Konsum "scharfer" Getränke rückläufig

Abstract

Ein großer Teil des Getränkesektors profitierte 1994 von der sommerlichen Hitzewelle. Es waren dies in erster Linie die Hersteller von alkoholfreien Getränken, und zwar allen voran die Mineralbrunnen, sowie - allerdings in weit geringerem Maße - die Brauereien. Insgesamt hat der Getränkeverbrauch pro Kopf im vergangenen Jahr gegenüber 1993 um fast 2% auf 676 Liter zugenommen. Allerdings konnte er das Niveau des Jahres 1992 nicht erreichen, da er - wie andere Bereiche des privaten Verbrauchs auch - vom schwachen Wachstum der Einkommen tangiert wurde. Nicht zuletzt deshalb haben die Verbraucher auf die erheblich gestiegenen Kaffeepreise mit einer deutlichen Einschränkung des Konsums an Bohnenkaffee reagiert.
