Westdeutsche Industrie : nach dreijährigem Rückgang 1995 deutliche Investitionsbelebung

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen des ifo Investitionstests dürfen die westdeutschen Industrieunternehmen 1994 mit gut 73 Mrd. DM rund 2 % (real 3 %) weniger für neue Bauten und Ausrüstungen ausgeben als 1993. Für 1995 planen die Unternehmen eine Steigerung ihrer Investitionen um 7 % (real gut 5 %); die stärkste Erhöhung haben die Investitionsgüterproduzenten vorgesehen, eine Einschränkung die Nahrungs- und Genußmittelindustrie. Sowohl 1994 als auch 1995 stehen Ersatzbeschaffungen und Rationalisierungsmaßnahmen im Vordergrund.Rund ein Sechstel der Ausgaben soll in Erweiterungsinvestitionen fließen. Allerdings ist nicht auszuschließen, daß - angesichts der steigenden Kapazitätsauslastung - der Mitteleinsatz für Erweiterungsvorhaben im nächsten Jahr noch erhöht wird.
