Finanzierungsprobleme des industriellen Mittelstandes in den neuen Ländern

Abstract

Der Bericht handelt von den Finanzproblemen kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen im industriellen Bereich in den neuen Bundesländern. Dabei war von besonderem Interesse, welche Finanzierungsprobleme vorkommen und worin ihre Ursachen liegen. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind die Eigenkapitalausstattung der Betriebe, die Fremdfinanzierung und die Rolle von Beteiligungsgesellschaften. Insgesamt ist festzustellen, daß die Produktionsbehinderungen zwischen Anfang 1991 und Mitte 1994 stetig abnehmen. Die Entwicklung der Finanzsituation werden von den verschiedenen Unternehmensklassen in der Mehrheit günstig bewertet. Finanzierungsprobleme treten vor allem durch Zahlungsverzögerungen und -ausfälle, Kreditunwürdigkeit wegen fehlender Sicherheiten und Bürgschaften sowie wegen Eigenkapitalmangel auf. Die Kreditinstitute zeigen weiterhin starkes Engagement bei der Fremdfinanzierung und bei der Überbrückung von Liquiditätsengpässen. Der Bericht stellt am Ende eine Reihe von Lösungsvorschlägen vor, die die Finanzierungsprobleme beheben sollen.
