Hat die Weltkonjunktur die Talsohle erreicht?

Abstract

Nach Ansicht von etwa 500 Experten aus 64 Ländern ist der Abschwung der Weltkonjunktur im vierten Quartal 1992 zum Stillstand gekommen. Die Mehrzahl rechnete mit einer Verbesserung der Wirtschaftlage in den nächsten sechs Monaten, allerdings waren die positiven Erwartungen per saldo etwas weniger zahlreich als bei einer vorangegangenen Erhebung im Oktober. Verbessert haben sich die Aussichten nach Meinung der Experten vor allem in Nordamerika, während sie sich in Westeuropa nochmals eingetrübt haben. Arbeitslosigkeit und Budgetdefizite wurden im Durchschnitt der 64 Länder am häufigsten als wirtschaftliche Hauptprobleme genannt.
