Investitionen : Konjunkturschatten werden länger

Abstract

Vor einem Jahr war für 1992 eine nachhaltige Verlangsamung des Investitionswachstums in Westdeutschland prognostiziert worden. Da die damals allgemein unterstellte Erholung der Weltkonjunktur ausgeblieben ist, war die Abschwächung noch ausgeprägter als erwartet. Andererseits wurden die Investitionen in den neuen Bundesländern stärker gesteigert als vor einem Jahr angenommen. Das gesamtdeutsche Investitionswachstum bewegt sich damit 1992 etwa in den vorausgeschätzten Bahnen. Inzwischen hat sich das Investitionsklima in der Bundesrepublik weiter abgekühlt. Mittelfristig, d.h. im Zeitraum 1991-1997, hängt die Investitionsentwicklung entscheidend vom internationalen Konjunkturverlauf ab.
