Abstract

Die Arbeitsgruppe Rohstoffpreise der Vereinigung Europäischer Kunjunkturforschungsinstitute hat sich am 28. und 29. September 1992 mit der Entwicklung der internationalen Rohstoffmärkte befaßt und Preisprognosen bis Mitte 1994 erarbeitet. Die Gruppe geht davon aus, daß sowohl das reale Bruttosozialprodukt in den westlichen Industrieländern, als auch das Welthandelsvolumen 1993 etwas stärker expandieren als in diesem Jahr und der Dollarkurs im Jahresdurchschnitt 1993 wieder auf etwa 1,60 DM steigen wird. Unter diesen Annahmen kommt sie zu dem Ergebnis, daß die Preise für nichtenergetische Rohstoffe nach einem Rückgang um 10% im Jahr 1991 im Durchschnitt dieses Jahres nochmals leicht nachgeben und 1993 dann um 5% steigen werden. Unter Einschluß der Energieträger rechnen die beteiligten Institute mit einem Preisanstieg um 1% in diesem und um 6% im nächsten Jahr (1991: - 13%).
