Wachstum des Welthandels schwächt sich ab : Ergebnisse des Konjunkturtests International (KTI) vom Januar 1991

Abstract

Die Teilnehmer am ifo-Konjunkturtest International aus 55 Ländern beurteilen die gesamtwirtschaftliche Lage als nicht mehr so günstig. Weltweit rechnen die Experten damit, daß sich keine Eintrübung des Wirtschaftsklimas in den nächsten sechs bis zwölf Monaten ergeben wird. Allerdings wird eine Stagnation des Außenhandels in den Industrieländern erwartet. Während man im Durchschnitt Westeuropas und Nordamerikas für 1991 mit einer Preissteigerungsrate von 5 und in Asien von 7% rechnet, liegen die Inflationserwartungen in Afrika bei 15%, in Osteuropa bei 30% und in den lateinamerikanischen Ländern bei 125%. In den Industrieländern rechnet man mit fallenden Zinsen. Der US-Dollar gilt als stark unterbewertet. Weltweit besteht ein günstiges Investitionsklima für ausländische Investoren. Die Arbeitslosigkeit gilt als Hauptproblem in den Industrieländern. Eine Zunahme des Protektionismus wird von den USA erwartet, erst an zweiter Stelle wurde die EG genannt.
