Arbeit und Technik in der Bekleidungsindustrie der neuen Bundesländer aus Sicht der Ökonomie

Abstract

Die Hauptschwierigkeit der Bekleidungshersteller in den neuen Bundesländern ist eindeutig der eingeschränkte Zugang zu den Märkten. Da man die Ware nicht verkaufen kann, arbeiten die Unternehmen in Kurzarbeit. Die Firmen werden gegenwärtig aus dem Zwang der Planwirtschaft in eine internationale Konkurrenz entlassen, ohne im Marketing und in der Betriebsführung darauf vorbereitet zu sein. Die bisherige Kundschaft, bzw. die bestehenden Absatzwege sind ausgefallen. Die Nachfrage aus der Sowjetunion ist fast völlig zum Erliegen gekommen. Die Subventionierung über den innerdeutschen Handel ist weggefallen. Die Kundschaft aus den neuen Bundesländern, die durch die Planwirtschaft auch im Bereich Bekleidung im Verhältnis zum Export immer vernachlässigt wurde, fragt hauptsächlich Kleidung aus dem Westen nach.
