Strukturelle Veränderungen in der Weltwirtschaft

Abstract

Die Textilwirtschaft gehört zu jenen Sektoren, in denen sich in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten weltweit erhebliche Verschiebungen in der Struktur der Anbieterländer vollzogen haben. Charakteristisch ist, daß immer wieder "neue" Textil- und Bekleidungsanbieter auf dem Weltmarkt auftreten. Der Textil- und Bekleidungssektor wird aus mehreren Gründen (u.a. dynamische heimische Nachfrage) als Startindustrie für die Industrialisierung eines Landes als besonders geeignet angesehen, wobei er dann vielfach auch als Devisenbeschaffer eine erhebliche Rolle spielt.
