Anforderungserfordernisse und Unternehmensstrategien für Europa'92

Abstract

Die Untersuchung, ob durch die EG '92 ein besonderer struktureller Anpassungsbedarf auf die westdeutschen Unternehmen zukommt (der möglicherweise wirtschaftspolitischen Handlungsbedarf nach sich zieht) ergab zwar, daß die Maßnahmen zur Vollendung des Binnenmarktes als "marktstrukturneutral", wenn auch nicht als "marktprozeßneutral" zu bewerten sind. Die im Verlauf des Forschungsvorhabens eingetretenen Veränderungen im Ostblock haben jedoch die Unternehmenserwartungen im Hinblick auf Europa'92 teilweise überlagert oder sogar in den Hintergrund treten lassen. Insbesondere die deutsche Vereinigung erweist sich möglicherweise keineswegs als "marktstrukturneutral". Das könnte vor allem für den Sektor Finanzdienstleistungen und technische Dienstleistungen gelten. Hier ist sicherzustellen, daß die neuen Chancen auch von kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen wahrgenommen werden können. Die Industrieunternehmen haben offensichtlich bereits begonnen, sich mit kompetenzsteigernden Investitionen auf den verstärkten Anpassungsdruck einzustellen.
