Hohe Finanzierungsrisiken im Einzelhandel trotz verbesserter Ertragssituation

Abstract

Der deutsche Einzelhandel erwirtschaftete 1987 im Durchschnitt einen Gewinn nach Steuern von 2,4% des Umsatzes. Auf Grund der Zunahme des privaten Verbrauchs (1987 + 4,1%) wuchsen die Gewinne um 8% gegenüber 1986. Die Gewinne der großen Warenkonzerne nahmen 1988 im Vergleich zu 1987 um 18% ab. Auch das durchschnittliche Betriebsergebnis des Facheinzelhandels war 1988 1% niedriger als 1987. Das Ergebnis ist aber stark schwankend, abhängig von Fachzweig, Standort und Unternehmensgröße. Bestimmend für das gute Ergebnis sind SB-Warenhäuser und Großfilialisten. Nur 7,2% der Finanzierungsmittel kamen 1987 aus Eigenkapital.
