Ein Überblick über Wohnungsmarktpolitik in europäischen Ländern

Abstract

In Deutschland gibt es aktuell eine rege wohnungsmarktpolitische Diskussion bezüglich verschiedener staatlicher Eingriffe. Zur Bereicherung dieser Diskussion kann es hilfreich sein, die Umsetzung von Fördermaßnahmen in anderen Ländern näher zu betrachten. In diesem Artikel wird die Bandbreite der Förderpolitiken in europäischen Volkswirtschaften aufgezeigt. Die Regierungen anderer Staaten legen überwiegend den Fokus auf die Steigerung der Energieeffizienz von Wohngebäuden und die Bereitstellung von Wohnraum für einkommensschwache Haushalte. Anhand von drei Beispielen wird in diesem Artikel zudem die konkrete Ausgestaltung von unterschiedlichen Maßnahmen in Italien, Frankreich und Großbritannien erläutert. Es zeigt sich, dass politische Eingriffe in den Wohnungsmarkt Auswirkungen entfalten, die so nicht von den Regierungen beabsichtigt waren.
