Sonderprogramm – sachsenfrei? KfW-Mittelstandsbankkredite nach regionaler Gliederung

Abstract

Die Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau – kurz KfW – fördert seit über 60 Jahren die deutsche Wirtschaft mit Darlehen zu vergünstigten Konditionen. Dabei fördert der Geschäftsbereich KfW-Mittelstandsbank insbesondere den deutschen Mittelstand sowie Existenzgründer. Dieser Artikel veranschaulicht die regionale Gliederung der Kreditzusagevolumen der KfW-Mittelstandsbank. Während in den Jahren vor der Finanzund Wirtschaftskrise das Kreditvergabevolumen nur gemächlich wuchs, ist es infolge verschiedenster Sonderprogramme seit 2009 förmlich explodiert. Damit einhergehend kam es auch zu Verschiebungen der regionalen Verteilung des Kreditvolumens. Ostdeutsche Flächenländer überholten bezüglich der zugesprochenen Unternehmenskredite die westdeutschen Bundesländer. Hingegen riefen Unternehmen aus Sachsen kaum Kredite aus diesen Sonderprogrammen ab. Damit erklärt sich der relative Rückgang der Kreditzusagen an sächsische Unternehmen durch die KfW-Mittelstandsbank im Vergleich zu anderen (ostdeutschen) Bundesländern.
