Zeitarbeit in der sächsischen Metall- und Elektroindustrie : die Sicht der Unternehmen

Abstract

Die Zeitarbeit ist in jüngerer Zeit in die öffentliche Diskussion geraten. Insbesondere von Gewerkschaftsseite wird Zeitarbeit als eine Form prekärer Beschäftigung angesehen, die mit niedrigen Einkommen und geringer sozialer Absicherung einhergehe. Unternehmensvertreter betonen hingegen vor allem die Flexibilitätsgewinne, die durch den Einsatz von Zeitarbeit im Produktionsprozess erreicht werden könnten. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat das ifo Institut (Niederlassung Dresden) im Sommer diesen Jahres in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Arbeitgeberverband der Sächsischen Metall- und Elektroindustrie eine Befragung von sächsischen Unternehmen dieser Branche durchgeführt, bei der unter anderem auch nach dem Einsatz von und den Erfahrungen mit Zeitarbeit gefragt wurde. Erste Ergebnisse dieser Untersuchung werden im vorliegenden Beitrag vorgestellt.
