Entwicklung von Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2008/2009

Abstract

Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt Ostdeutschlands ist im Jahr 2007 nach vorläufigen Angaben der amtlichen Statistik preisbereinigt um 2,2 % gestiegen. In diesem Jahr wird das Wirtschaftswachstum der aktuellen ifo Dresden Konjunkturprognose zufolge ähnlich stark ausfallen. Für das Jahr 2009 wird allerdings analog zum Deutschlandtrend eine deutliche Abschwächung der konjunkturellen Dynamik in Ostdeutschland prognostiziert. Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt wird dann wahrscheinlich lediglich um 1% zulegen. Die Lage auf dem ostdeutschen Arbeitsmarkt dürfte sich trotz der Abschwächung bis zum Ende des Prognosehorizonts weiter entspannen. In Sachsen wird das Wirtschaftswachstum im nächsten Jahr voraussichtlich etwas stärker ausfallen als im ostdeutschen Durchschnitt.
