Perspektiven 2002/2003 : Konjunktur bessert sich langsam

Abstract

In Deutschland ist die Konjunktur zur Zeit schwach. Die drastischen Kurseinbrüche an den internationalen Aktienmärkten und die damit einhergehenden Vermögensverluste beeinträchtigten die Kaufbereitschaft der Verbraucher und erschwerten die Außenfinanzierung für Unternehmen. Die Mehrheit der Institute erwartet im Verlauf des Jahres 2003 eine allmähliche Konjunkturerholung. Die sich belebende Weltwirtschaft regt den Export an. Zudem hellen sich die Erwartungen auf, sobald sich die Aktienkurse stabilisieren und die Lage im Nahen und Mittleren Osten normalisiert. Damit wird die expansive Geldpolitik wieder stärker zum Tragen kommen. Diesen Impulsen steht jedoch eine sehr restriktive Finanzpolitik gegenüber.
