Ostdeutschland zehn Jahre nach der Vereinigung - Kommt der Aufholprozess wieder in Gang ?

Abstract

Mit diesem Artikel wird die Berichterstattung des ifo Instituts über die Entwicklung der ostdeutschen Wirtschaft fortgesetzt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen diesmal die Ergebnisse des neuen Europäischen Systems Volkswirtschaftlicher Gesamtrechnung für Ostdeutschland im Zeitraum 1991 bis 1999. Der Lebensstandart hat sich danach in diesem Zeitraum stark verbessert, allerdings war Erhöhung der Produktivität und der heimischen Produktion in diesem Zeitraum viel geringer.
