Welche Bedeutung hat die Visegrad-Region für Sachsens Wirtschaft?

Abstract

Die Visegrad-Staaten - es handelt sich hierbei um Polen, die Slowakei, Tschechien und Ungarn - haben in Mittel- und Osteuropa (MOE) relativ gute Chancen bis spätestens 2006 in die EU aufgenommen zu werden. Das EU-Grenzland Sachsen, dessen Nachbarn zwei der vier Viségad-Länder sind, muss sich in besonderer Weise auf diese Beitritte vorbereiten. Im Rahmen der Vorbereitung ist es zunächst sinnvoll festzustellen, welche wirtschaftliche Bedeutung die Viségrad-Region für den Freistaat hat.
