Wie wirkt das neue Ladenschlußgesetz auf den Einzelhandel? : erste Ergebnisse einer Befragung im Einzelhandel

Abstract

Das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft erteilte dem ifo Institut den Forschungsauftrag die vielfältigen und z.T. recht komplexen Wirkungen der veränderten Ladenschlußzeiten auf den Einzelhandel und die Verbraucher zu beobachten und auf wesentliche Einflußfaktoren hin zu anlaysieren. Als Ergebnis wurde ermittelt, daß 39% der Verkaufsstellen heute längere Öffnungszeiten als vor der Änderung des Ladenschlußgesetzes im November 1996 haben. Dies trifft insbesondere auf die großflächigen Verkaufsstätten wie SB-Warenhäuser/Verbrauermärkte (100%), Kauf/Warenhäuser (97%) und Fachmärkte (86%) zu.
