Der sächsische Arbeitsmarkt im Oktober 1998

Abstract

In Sachsen ist die Erwerbslosigkeit im Oktober nochmals zurückgegangen, die Arbeitslosenquote belief sich auf 16,5%. Nach wie vor ist jedoch das hohe Beschäftigungsvolumen auf dem zweiten Arbeitsmarkt der maßgebende Faktor für die Verbesserung der Arbeitsmarktlage. Die sich in jüngster Zeit verlangsamende Konjunkturerholung dürfte aufgrund der Wirkungsverzögerung zwischen dem Gütermarkt und dem Arbeitsmarkt kurzfristig kaum Einfluß auf die Entwicklung von Arbeitslosigkeit und Beschäftigung ausüben.
