Forschung und Entwicklung in Ostdeutschland : kommen die Forschungsergebisse auch international zur Geltung?

Abstract

In dem vorliegenden Bericht wird die Forschung und Entwicklung (FuE) in Ostdeutschland analysiert. Dabei wird festgestellt, daß die FuE-Anstrengungen durchaus zu meßbaren Ergebnissen führen, die Voraussetzungen für eine Nutzung des ostdeutschen Innovationspotentials auf internationalen Märkten aber noch unbefriedigend sind. Für die ostdeutsche Industrie, welche nach dem Ausbau ihrer FuE Potentiale nun im Rahmen des derzeitigen Aufholprozesses dazu übergehen kann, ihre Innovationspotentiale zur Realisierung neuer Produkte und Verfahren breit zu nutzen, wird es von entscheidener Bedeutung sein, sich nun auf diese internationalen Veränderungen einzustellen und ihre Strategien darauf auszurichten.
