Industrie : gefestigtes Geschäftsklima

Abstract

Nach der Aufhellung im November 1996 verharrte das Geschäftsklima in der sächsichen Industrie auf einem im großen und ganzen zufriedenstellenden Niveau und stellte sich damit genauso günstig dar wie im Durchschnitt der neuen Bundesländer. Mit dem aktuellen Geschäftsverlauf waren die Unternehmen zu Jahresbeginn immer noch unzufrieden, das Vertrauen in die weitere konjunkturelle Entwicklung hat sich indes deutlich gefestigt. Dabei setzten doe Firmen weiterhin auf das Exportgeschäft. Die Auftragsbestände reichten zum Jahresanfang 1997 für eine Produktion von 3,6 Monaten. Die Produktionskapazitäten wurden bei einem Auslastungsgrad von 77% intensiver genutzt. Den Firmenmeldungen zufolge hielt der Preisrückgang in nahezu unverändertem Umfang an, auch für die kommenden Monate gingen die Testteilnehmer no einer Fortsetzung dieser Tendenz aus.
