Bauboom in Ostdeutschland verliert an Schwung

Abstract

Der Bericht analysiert die Bauwirtschaft in Ostdeutschland im Jahr 1995. In den neuen Bundesländern war die Bauwirtschaft in den letzten Jahren die Triebfeder der raschen konjunkturellen Aufwärtsentwicklung. 1994 sind die Bauinvestitionen um 22 % auf 104 Mill. DM gestiegen. Im laufenden Jahr werden die Bauinvestitionen in Ostdeutschland erneut kräftig expandieren. Nachdem nach der Wende zunächst der Wirtschaftsbau und der öffentliche Bau die Antriebskräfte der Baukonjunktur waren, hat seit dem letzten Jahr der Wohnungsbau diese Rolle übernommen. Die Bautätigkeit wird wegen des hohen Baubedarfs und großzägiger Fördermaßnahmen weiter steigen. Das Wachstumstempo wird sich aber voraussichtlich in allen Bausparten verlangsamen. Die gesamten Bauinvestitionen dürften um ungfähr 7 % zunehmen.
