Der sächsische Arbeitsmarkt im Oktober 1994

Abstract

Im Oktober 1994 ist die Arbeitslosigkeit in Deutschland weiter zurückgegangen. Nach einem Rückgang um knapp 46.000 gegenüber September wurden insgesamt 3,45 Mio. Menschen ohne Arbeit gezählt. Auch im Freistaat Sachsen war die Arbeitsmarktentwicklung deutlich günstiger (Rückgang um 4,3%) als sonst um diese Jahreszeit. Eine Besserung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt sieht man deutlich bei den Männern mit einer Quote von 7,6% Arbeitslosen, der entsprechende Wert bei den Frauen lag Ende Oktober 1994 bei 20,2%. Die Entlastung des sächsischen Arbeitsmarktes durch arbeitsmarktpolitische Instrumente hat in den letzten Monaten wieder zugenommen. Insgesamt sind Stabilisierungstendenzen in Deutschland auf dem Arbeitsmarkt unübersehbar, allerdings muß man in Sachsen noch von einer massiven Arbeitlosigkeit sprechen, da die Lage der Frauen und älteren Arbeitnehmer schlechter wird.
