Strategische Allianzen in der Halbleiterindustrie

Abstract

Im globalen Technologie- und Marktwettbewerb der Halbleiterindustrie sind strategische Allianzen heute ein bedeutender Wettbewerbsparameter. Allianzen existieren sowohl auf der horizontalen Ebene als auch auf der vertikalen Ebene. Letztere erfolgen zwischen Halbleiterunternehmen und Systemherstellern oder -anwendern, d. h. Unternehmen der Informationstechnologie, der Konsumelektronik und der Telekommunikation. Der wirtschaftlichen und technologieschen Dominanz entsprechend haben vor allem japanische und US-amerikanische Halbleiterunternehmen strategische Allianzen miteinander geschlossen, deutlich seltener dagegen sind europäische oder koreanische Unternehmen eingebunden.
